More Rogue Trader Era Blood Angels Terminators

As frequent readers of this blog will be aware I am something of a completionist when it comes to my hobby activities!  Thus I have spent this week finishing off the Rogue Trader Terminator Squad that I started in my last post.

These intimidating looking chaps are also clearly members of the Blood Angels Chapter (maybe even Legion); and I have tried to emulate the old ‘Eavy Metal colour scheme for this faction as far as practicable.

This time around I gave two of the veteran Battle-Brothers some heavy-duty Chainfists in order to make them more useful in melee for both old school 40k Battles and games of Space Hulk.

As per usual with this particular project I went full retro and gave them all the Goblin Green bases that were in fashion during the early 1990s.... ahhhhh these bases bring back so many happy memories!

Overall I am really pleased with how these models have turned out and I now have two squads of 1989 era Terminators completed and ready to do battle in the name of the Emperor!

Hmmmmm .....I guess this elite force just needs a leader to command it next.....

  1. Amazing as always, they look like they stepped right out of a 1990 issue of WD. As someone who spent hours staring at those issues when I was 13 (and still read them from time to time) I love to see you making miniatures look like what the standard is in my head. Thanks for all the Oldhammer joy!

    1. Thanks mate! Those kind words mean a lot! I spend a load of time going through old white dwarfs and classic rulebooks trying to get inspiration and making sure my colour schemes are correct for the period... so I am pleased that my work is hitting the right mark!
