First off... happy birthday.... This blog is now one year old!! Wahoo! What a year it's been, retro space marines; battle sisters; titans....we've had it all! Meanwhile the modern hobby has continued to spiral out of control with GW re-releasing 40k (again), prices being increased (again) and White Dwarf being raped and ruined....good times!!
Since this blog started it has had over 17,000 page visits and now has over 50 followers (hello all)! And I have managed to publish 41 posts and more importantly made some great new virtual friends with similar hobby interests!!
Anyway back to hobby stuff....
This week I have finished yet another 1989 Predator Tank that I have done a salvage job on; again this is for my Rogue Trader Salamanders force and I have stuck with a classic paint job and hand painted retro markings....
This brings my grand total up to three 1980s predators which makes for a full armoured squadron...feel our wrath heretic scum....
Additionally I have cracked out the graph paper again and started painting up some vehicle banners for my new fleet of retro Rhinos...
Next week I shall try and finish of a few more paper banners for the APCs!!!
Happy Birthday!!! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the painting and detailing on the Rhinos and the Predators.
I look forward to what you post in the future.
Cheers Lee;
DeleteI have to say these old tanks are a joy to paint!! Once I sit down with them I just can't stop adding stuff!!
Great job on the banners and happy birthday to you
ReplyDeleteThanks mate! I feel banners are something that is missing from modern 40k! Also it's very satisfying to make them from actual paper rather than have most of the work done for you with sculpted ones!!! Only 14 more to do for my remaining tanks.....
DeleteHappy birthday! and I love those Dalek Predators!. Now how about some Epic? 3 weeks to go bud :D
ReplyDeleteYou are right Chico; I have been neglecting my epic!! I got side tracked!! I still have to finish my last warlord and do the banners for all the titans!!!
DeleteCongratulations, happy birthday! :D Hope you keep on posting all your goodies, they are enjoyable!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks Suber. I'm happy to keep posting as long as you guys are happy to keep reading!!
DeleteHappy birthday, keep up the great work!
